I want to make a quite basic open sweep (a circle along an open path), but I want a "tapered" sweep, i.e the end circle smaller than the start one. Is that possible in a sweep? It seems such a basic feature, just like the taper is easy in an extrusion (by draft outward/ inward). Do I have to use...
Hi, I want to make a sweep that has different profiles, i.e. gets "thin" and "fat" . Is there a way of doing this with a sweep, or do I have to create a complicated loft to achieve what I want? I'm attaching a pic of the path and profiles so my question is understood.
Hi, is there any way of copying features, such as a loft, from one part to another? I've created quite a complicated loft in one part and I wish to reproduce it in another part without building it again, does anybody know if that's even possible? Besides making an assembly? Thanks.
Dan, your advice worked like magic! Thanks! I don't really understand what I just did, but it worked. http://img459.imageshack.us/img459/7476/67067662xp4.jpg
Hey,
I've built a loft of an ellipse by making one quarter of it and mirroring twice (photos attached). The loft isn't smooth and continuos, any idea how to make a perfect ellipse? Do I have to add more profiles?
Hi, I have a 90/80 cm, 2 mm thick plate that has 112 irregular double holes (i.e. 224 holes) in a specific pattern. I made the holes' pattern in the sketch, I think this is the "lightest" way. The file is still very heavy and reacts very slowly. Is there a better way to do the pattern? Would a...
