    Hi metengr, in my understanding, overlay welding is not kind of dissimilar weld. Because we only have 1 base material to be overlaid with F43 (it's same with joining P1 to P1 with F.6 filler). Because ASME Div. IX doesn't say anything about material being overlaid P and group number. anyway...
