Yes I have played with fixed text height. My problem is that every day all day I have to use Solidworks, Catia V5, and NX 7.5. Catia and Solidworks do have names for dimensions but it isn't displayed in front of the dim. If you want to know the dim name you just check the property of the...
New 7.5 user here. I have a sketch with 100 dimensions in it and they all have the name of the dimension in front of it.
Example = p280=6
I just want it to say 6 instead of cluttering up my screen with the p280= garbage.
Thanks in advance!
My catia V5 is now doing this ugh.. Its only showing 1 arrow in a dimension and the dimension is double what it is supposed to read. I have a view that is 2:1 and when I put a dimension on it, it looks like this (I circled the dim in red)
The dim should read 24.05 and have 2 arrowheads of...

SW 2009 SP 4.1
Windows 7 x64

I set 0 from the center of my part and located some features with ordinate dimensions.
I then added a feature and want to add it to my ordinate dimensions (dimension set).
The only way I figured out how to do it was, start a new dimension set and locate my component, then delete the 0.
Whoops.. forgot to answer what a dowel pin symbol was..
