Trying to establish a specific way of partitioning the GIS might not be a good idea since every manufacturer has its own way of dealing with the service continuity requirements and they have a philosophy on how to establish their gas sections. A good way to approach the service continuity is put...
Hello guys,
The following table presents the load combinations per node (anchoring point) provided for the design of a 230 kV GIS
Node Load Case Fx [kN] Fy [kN] Fz [kN]
01 DEAD LOAD 0,94 0,00 -6,76
01 TEMPERATURE -6,34 -0,14 34,69
02 DEAD LOAD -0,95 0,00 -6,67
02 TEMPERATURE -6,13...
Right now I’m working on projects for different a client that involves the installation of a GIS inside a building; each of them uses have different guidelines for HVAC of the building. Some like to use extractor fans, some have asked for air conditioned (money is no barrier), some doesn’t use...
Thank you all for your responses but I think I was not entirely clear. What I'm looking for is a manufacturer that provides a disconnector with the functions of a pantograph and a knee-type all togetherin one equipment.
This equipment is used to put in service the spare unit of an inductive...
Hello,
The picture attached to this message shows a disconnector that combines a semi-pantograph disconnector and a knee-type disconnector, I’ve been searching through the web to find any manufacturer with this equipment among its products list, but so far my search has not been succesful. I...
I'm sorry, but I'm not familiarized with those standards you're mentioning, I'd appreciate if you can give me a hint about where I can get them.
Thanks,
Greetings,
Im' an electrical engineer and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but i'll do it anyway, I'd like to know if anyone can help me with the necesary requirements for fire walls on buildings, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Hi,
I´m currently testing a new Power System Stability software with apparently very good results. From what I´ve researched, the IEEE has a 14 busbar system for this kind of study, I have the diagram of the system but I haven´t found any characteristics of its components yet. Could anybody...
Why don´t you try the following program: http://pp.kpnet.fi/ijl
I have been using it and doing some comparisons with another certified program, and the results have been quite similar.
There's no need to use expensive programs, you can do this by using ATP and Microsoft Excel, following the procedure proposed in the IEEE 80, the only thing else that you need is the soil resistivity. I use this very often and it has turned out to be very accurate.
from my experience, the electrical code of my country is based on the NEC (it's practically a translation), this code clearly specifies that neutral and ground buses be separated for the branch circuits, so I assume this requirement would apply for the NEC code too.
