Well kill is not an abandonment technique. Specifically it is performed so that an intervention can be performed (wireline, coiled tubing, frac etc.). A well may be killed several times during its life depending on intervention requirements that may arrize.
We are shortly going to be injecting some cruddy bore water (20,000 bbl/day) into our oil reservoir for pressure support.
