Hi all, Does anybody know the fatigue limit of the A4-80 bolt? A4-80 is made of acid-proof steel. I have found the fatigue limit value for the 8.8 steel bolt, but not for the A4-80 acid-proof bolt.- AndyLake

NoranTech, I ran the Example Problem 6 with NeiNastran V8.4 and V9.0 and I brought the results into Femap V9.2. When I ran the problem 6 with V8.4, SSHL results were visible. When I ran the problem 6 with V9.0, SSHL results were not visible?! The Analysis Options were same for both version... -

We had earlier Femap V9.0. There was SSHL NORMAL STRESS. Now we have V9.2 -> there is no SSHL NORMAL STRESS. That option is removed, why? I have to complain to the Noran. -

Hi all, I have used a weld element to join dissimilar meshes together. The weld element works well for linear static analysis but badly for nonlinear static analysis. The surfaces of the weld element slide when analysis type is nonlinear static. How is it possible? -
