Hi, I am a new user to catia . When I started drafting, and right click into properties, I could not change the settings of the approximate edges because it is not highlighted. Could someone guide me on how to turn this function on? many thanks

Yes, the ANSI and ASME are in 3rd angle Projection but they are not in the A4 Size sheet, that is why i need to change the standards from the admin mode silverrunner is talking about, but yet to find out how to start in admin mode yet

HI, i have a new user in Catia V5R14. How do I preset it to 3rd angle projection in drafting? It is by default 1st angle Projection

I hope my question does not sound confusing. I am a relative new user to catia V5R14. I am trying to work on sketcher and trying to draw a continuous line on two planes. The purpose of it is that you can see only a line at an angle on 1 plane and then a continuous line as a C on the other plane...

I am currently using V5R13. I am using the software for my thesis in my fourth year in university. I am interested if this software could model a prototype adding vibration to the prototype and analyse the stresses or forces.

ok thanks everyone, i was just wondering why it is shown as threaded in all views except isometic. This is because pro engineer can do that. Someone who is looking at the drawing must be thinking something is wrong with the drawing as the ismeometric views does not tally with the other views...

Not shown in isometric view and workbench

I have turned on the generate threads but it is still not shown in the 3D workbench but as dotted lines in the 2D drafting page.
