    coupling beams modeling in ETABS

    hi every body my problem that coupling beams between shear walls modeled as shell element in ETABS model for 40 story tower. so it is subjected to heigh shear force . then i thought to reduce shear stiffness for coupling beams . but no way to do this in ETABS .any body have thoughts about this...
