Hi Littleinch. Thanks for the response. Yea there is a train yard 1.6 miles away. I have been down this route and have been in communications with the company as well. I have driven there at all hours of the night. I do not hear or feel the same noise as I did at Flat Rock Metal. I can...
All, I was able to obtain the plans for the water supply/pipes for my neighborhood. Please see attached. My lot number is #27195 which is situated at the bottom center of the area. What I find interesting is that the noise/vibration is the strongest on the south and west side of my home. As...
@r13: interesting read and I have done a bit of reading on infrasound since this has started. I agree with everyone that this is a very low frequency. I noticed this post on another forum I came across when reading about infrasound. It sounds very similar to what I’m experiencing, including...
@OG:Thanks again. Have reached out to local clubs. Also, going to test out the support post to see if I see any changes.
@Littleinch: Thank you for weighing in as well. I started logging this issue approximately 1 year ago. Haven’t been able to determine a pattern. Was traveling frequently...
@oldestguy. Thanks for the recommendation. Will be moving forward with purchasing used equipment or renting.
Appreciate all the feedback and suggestions, everyone.
Hi @MikeHalloran, I’ve gone as far as adding blocking between the joists under the utility room and have added anti vibration pads under each of the dryer legs. I will try to add some weight to see if it reduces the noise in the other room. Thanks for the reply!

The noise/vibrations in home come and go. It’s always several hours or days and days. I agree that it is a low frequency. I have read articles regarding lift stations for water treatment facilities however mu local water department doesn’t have qualified staff. They showed up to my home on a...
I have used a vibration app on my phone and this is a screenshot. Besides the source of the noise. I have shut off all utilities and the vibration is still present.
I feel like whatever is wrong with the house is contributing to the vibrations/noises caused by an outside factor. And I...
