Thank Tmoose to have make it more realistic
so it means that misalignment and unbalance decrease because of something else ?
regarding unbalance and misalignment only, energy losses are also relative to :
-temperature (due to friction in bearing(#% HP?) and coupling(#% HP ?) )
-loading...
thank you guys
to summarize from my new point of view,
misalignment and unbalance increase vibration and heat up and bearing friction
-power consumption for industrial application loaded on not could be up to 10% HP for each phenomena ?
-so 20% HP in the worth case ?
Hello Evrybody,
Could you answer me about this Vibration versus Ultrasound analysis (advantage/disadvantage, reliability) ?
for bearing condition (low and high speed)
for gearmesh condition (low and high speed)
Best regards

Hello
i made a measurement on a spindle machine with keys to fixe gears on the shaft spindle.
and i have a 155Hz peak with 2 side bands of 38,8Hz
the turning speed is also 38,8Hz.
Dou you think it could be key wear ?
regards

each manufacturer of bearing got his own internal construction for bearing
for FAG bearing contact :

ISO value 10-1000Hz in vertical radial position: is back:4,5mm/s and front:5,1mm/s
ISO limit is 11,2mm/s ?
but constructor tell 3,5mm/s ? (what does it mean, motor only without coupling ? or maximum limit with coupling ?)
i have only take a vertical radial measurment
at the end of the motor, there is an hydraulic coupling
As you said, i have to look only on the velocity spectrum.
-So you think that i have to take horizontal radial measurment and axial ?
-but with this data, do you think something looks good...
hello all,
I wish you all an HAPPY NEW YEAR
I made one radial measurment on a motor and i found
in velocity spectrum 2 pics : 21,3Hz;4mm/s and 24,9Hz;4mm/s
and
in demodulated spectrum pics: 100,5Hz with 3 harmonics and 941Hz with side bands of 100,5Hz
What could we say ?
THANK YOU
Hello,
I am looking for EXCEL Visual Basic application to make fft, looking for harmonics, side bands, ... tools for analysis and make a diagnosis for mechanical vibration.
