Material selection for sulfuric acid

Building an offset, reverse rotation v-drive for high RPM's
You could use 4 similar 4"pitch diameter gears all mounted in a straight line, with the center pair idling this would give your 12" centers and a slimline package. Not sure how lucky you'd be finding off the shelf gears as they seem to be more available in the lower quality range...- alanb
