Hi,
i read your post only today, and i don't know if you solved your problem. If not, in our company we used to work with assemblies, and (even if it's not correct) we put the detailed parts in the assembly drawing.
To do that, and with parts existing externally, we NEVER browse looking for...
Hi guys,
I've noticed a lil problem with SW2009SP4 and subassemblies, but maybe it's my fault, i'm trying to find some new good starting point for my models so i'm doing some testing
After saving an assemblies, i imported it into a new assembly (as subassemblies) and i tried to chande the...
ok, maybe i found a solution: working with exploded view, where i can quote parts or section of the assembly, and printing the difficult parts singularly
my suppliers seemed happy during last orders using this method
let's see!
handleman: yes, as we always do.. ok, i have to convince myself there's no trick/tip
but i will try with macros, maybe we can, as artem said, save a lot of time, for example opening file together
i'd like to know how you give assembly drawings and parts detailed drawings to your suppliers...
hi handleman, and i could agree
but we work on small assemblies, i mean in terms of quantity of parts, and sometimes is useful to have on the same drawing also the details of the parts that has to be realized
one man that worked here use to print every part of an assembly on a different paper...
hi solidworks users! and.. ok, sorry in advance if it's a stupid question, but is only a doubt and i want to solve it, or understanding if my way of working is good or not
in my company we use working assembly drawing, so in the assembly drawing we put also the detail of the parts
our way to...
Hi there,
anyone ever used this string in a design table? or, better there's any chance to use it???
i'd like to drive in a design table the size (but i don't have probl on that) and ALSO the type of the threaded hole, instead of working with more than 1 feature and suppressing the other
what...
Hi to all of you, sorry i'm posting late (my wife began works, so i'm 50% a technician and 50% a baby sitter, full time in the Weekend!)
CorBl. :
- usually 1 tube per assy
- i can decide the part number
- no, there's no PDM, maybe in 2/3 years they'll have one, but depends also from the...
hi to all of you:-)
this is a strange question.. i'm finishing the library of materials for a company, and i have a doubt on how to proceed for a part..
this company uses metal tubes of different measures long (from 120mm to 1800 mm in 50 variations), with 3 different diameters (13,17,21) and...
Hi solidworks guys:-)
getting mad in front of the parts for the company i'm working for, i'm trying to solve this problem, and at the moment i think there is no solution..
according to you there's any way to drive the instances to skip in a circular pattern by a table or configurations...
rfus.. thanks! that's a great idea, and i'm checking a good solution starting with your example!
so... thanks a lot for the suggestion and for the example, i sincerely think that this is the only way to follow
yes, i've already tried the curve driven pattern, but the effect is not what i need. I've already tried, but as Eltron said the cups didn't reorient.. and i need cups reorient along the curve.. interference or overlap doesn't matter
so i have to suppose that the feature or trick i'm looking for...
Hi to all you Solidworks experts:-)
i' ve got a small question, and at the moment i didn't find a solution for it on guide and forums
I have to pattern a small cup, not parallel to the base on the top, along a tube (or a sketch), the important thing is that the final effect is a "tube made of...
