The deformation scale is at 1537. I think its a bit too high. If I change it to 100 I get a decent result (see image).
Is the result then still reasonable ? And how high or low should the deformation scale be ?
Yes, the radial and circumferential clearance is just zero. There is no space...
When simulating a shaft-hub connection with a feather key, the feather key always penetrates the shaft and hub (see attachment).
A downward pulling force acts on the hub, which exerts a moment on the feather key.
