How can i intersect two planes in ACAD?

I need help finding a way to intersect two planes in acad, apparently i cannot do this, i mean, ACAD only intersects solids. I guess i can do it the "old fashion" way which is obtaining equations of the planes and doing the rest of the mathematical stuff, but if ACAD has a way of doing this...

    Saturated Soil, Settlement Problem?

We're building a shrimp hatchery in Nicaragua (Light Gage Stainless Steel Structure, Reinforced Concrete Tanks), the site is about 350 meters from the beach, today we ran into this problem, over the last week or so, we cut the area of work to remove the top layer of the soil (black mud, highly...

    Rigid diaphragm?

Structureguy, thanks for the observation, i had thought about it before. UcfSE, the building code used in Nicaragua is practically a copy of the Mexican code, the rigid diaphragm definition that appears on the Nicaraguan code, i'm almost 100% sure it's taken from the IBC. tngolfer, there are...

    Rigid diaphragm?

Thank you all for the help, i realize they are both a little flexible, but what i really wanted to know is if they are rigid enough to transmit the lateral loads to the vertical elements, construction wise i believe figure #1 is easier to build, but i like option #2 because i thought it was more...

    Rigid diaphragm?

I'm having trouble determining which of the two options represent a rigid diaphragm (pdf file attached), it is for a two storey house, using confined CMU walls, to me figure #2 is correct but i've seen both types of construction so i'm confused. For a brief explanation on Confined Masonry check...
