Yeah I've had some correspondences with John Beardmore in the past. I've looked at my Saab 93's 'box change mechanism, its not very straight forward! Pushes the rod in and out and all sorts. I think I might have to retain part of the change system and activate the original gear...

I've been scratching my head for a couple days about gear linkages. I'm wanting to put a saab 2.3T engine in something (morris minor probably) but I'd rather put it behind the front seats, seems a better place that out front:)
