    H2S service/EN

    hi, when we use a carbone steel pipe in H2S service, the manufacturer must consider at least 10% of material available for corrosion. with regard to European standard, the corrosion allowance exists but I don t know how I can evaluate it? thanks, Leyla

    hi, what is the European standard which covers the H2S service? (NACE MR0175 equivalent!) and what is the added thickness in H2S service (corrosion) for carbon and stainless steel piping ? (according to EN ISO 15156 or an other Euro standard) best regards. Leyla

    I think I can also use: for high temperature,carbone steel piping: EN 10216-1 P265TR1 EN 10216-2 P265GH EN 10217-1 ... and for low temperature, carbone steel piping: EN 10216-4 P255 ... thanks, Leyla

    hi, weld factor z as regulated in EN 13480-3 clause 4.5 takes the value of: 1.0 for 100%NDT 0.85 for random NDT 0.7 when no NDT what is the value of z when we have: (100%ET + no random test) or ( no random + single butt)? (in accordance with the EuroNorm) regards,

    I found an other formula for high tempreture e = PS*Do / [20*f*z+P*(2-z)] and for room tempreture e = PS*Do / 20*f*z i.e. the one you gave the first time?
