and about the diameter of the shaft?? I know i ask a lot of things, but i got a problem and the guys from the mechanical department says that everything is ok...
i agree with you... and I know that theory, but in example, if i see a excentricity due to a bad mounting process between shaft and fly wheel, in example 0,6 mm, how could this affects the bearings? vibrations?
the question is: no balance, and a bad mounting process... (the fly wheel is not at...
on other side... i want to know your opinion about the fact that the shaft is 180 mm diameter in the side the fly wheel is mounted...could somebody tell me if this diameter is ok for a inertia (I) of 404 kpm^2
i thought it, but the mechanical guy tell me that it´s no needed cause it´s a machined piece...of carbon steel, and it´s exactly the same all the piece....
i got a flywheel, with dimensions:
diameter:1530 mm
weight: 1335 kg
and wide: 90 mm
the speed of rotation is 1000 rpm...
the question is does i need to balance the fly wheel?? could somebody explain me why?
yes, this is specially done units...not standard, and the problem is exactly on the two units... and the hottest sensor is on the thrust bearing on the side of the turbine, and the temperature is 85 ºC, with a load of 20Kn coming from the turbine, ( I can´t measure it, but the graphics says...
ok, i got two hydro generators sets, the data are:
RPM: 1000
Turbine: Francis
horizontal
type of the bearings: zoellern
generator: INDAR
weight of the rotor: 2500 kg
this generator is a francis turbine with a horizontal generator with two slide bearings,(zoellern bearings), one on the non...
thanks you all of you, about the basic measurements as megger and equality of the currents, all this have been done....
I have to say something, in example for jraef, i agree if you don´t use enough voltage, the rotor stay in the locked position, but...the rotor start to turn.... going from 0...
Hello, I got a problem on a propeller electrical motor, the name plates of the problem are the next:
-1000 HP
- Vertical motor, it´s posible to turn it by hand.
- 780 rpm 60 hz 440 V 1260 A full load.
- The propeller is a pitch control one, but when we start the motor is on the 0 position.
Now...
It´s a syncronous generator, 1000 rpm,1000 kw, cos 0,9, and the regulator is a basler decs 125....and the turbine is a Kaplan one..... does somebody knows something about the cleaning of the generator flux????
hello, here´s Jose from sunny Spain, and I got another question relative to the generation thing... I got one generator 1000 kw at full output power, and after ten hours more or less, the output start to decrease, and stay on 960 kw....
The customer tell me that in other power plants...
oh yeah, thanks for the replies to all of you... a new question related to this theme,... what´s the size for the standards for definition of the number of startings, and how the standard define it.... could somebody give some adress to see it...
on other hand, Lionel, the motor will not...
now I have a new question, how will the relay see the thermal model of the motor?? the relay signals are only RTD information.... and if the rotor is hot and the mechanical forces of the the starting breaks the bars, how does the relay knows it???
I´m not more into the relays for motor...
