    Silica sand in cement mix

    what you say doesn't make sense. sand from natural sources will not contain 'silicon (Si)'. Sand is already high in silica (SiO2), so that also doesn't make sense. Mix refers to unset or wet concrete. How can concrete be 'corroded'? I think you mean, the sand we are using is causing...
