In high voltage system e.g. 132 kV, should we go for CVT or PT

CVT & two winding PT, both can be used depending upon the requirements.

If communication from PLCC is also being envisaged or done, then it is better to go for CVT because CVT has cpacitor which saves the additional capacitor for PLCC.

If only metering &/or protection is required, then one should go for two winding PTs becuase CVT costs more. but no doubt CVT can aslo be used by paying extra money.
