Spaceframe/chassis design by GregLocock
Posted: 22 Jun 07 (Edited 24 Jun 07)

Racing & Sports Car Chassis Design
Costin and Phipps

Published in 1960. Invaluable reference for the manual design of spaceframes and similar chassis. Although few of us would be prepared to analyse a spaceframe by hand these days, it doesn't hurt to know how to do it. All the discussion of details and techniques is still relevant. Obviously it doesn't include anything about composites (or less obviously, wood).
