Coolin Tower/ Chiller Fundementles

I am a newbie here and I wanted to know if any of you guys have any real good informative sites.  I just started working in the building maitenance feild and got throw into daily operations of 2 trane 250 centrifucal chillers along with a Marley NC Cooling Tower.

What I am asking for is something basic as in design and/or any schematics anyone may have or a website that can get me off started in the right direction.

Thanks in advace.

RE: Coolin Tower/ Chiller Fundementles

Trane has some good info, as well as McQuay.  McQuay has a Chiller plant design manual on their website.  Marley and Baltimore AirCoil (BAC) have info on towers.  Also try Cooling tower institute and cti.doc for starters.

Thanks for the info guys.  I found lots of good stuff on the cooling tower, but not much on the trane centrifugal chillers.  I got more then enough to at least get me started on the tower.

Thanks  A lot !
