any suggestions on material for an inflatable pillow that will stand up to washing machines?

RE: inflatable water/heat resistant rubber pillow

What about the same material used for a washing machine door seal.

RE: inflatable water/heat resistant rubber pillow

That would be epdm!

RE: inflatable water/heat resistant rubber pillow

I'm not sure EPDM would have enough tensile (1500-2000 typ psi) to work but what about urethane film (4000-6000 tensile), heat sealed with an inflation fitting? Urethane films are readily available, EPDM is not. Urethane (tpu varieties) is heat sealable; EPDM is a thermoset and would have to be blow molded and the mold would be very expensive. For water, polyether-based urethane may be better to evaluate than polyester based urethane.
