PLOTTING SOLIDS IN COLOR

PLOTTING SOLIDS IN COLOR

PLOTTING SOLIDS IN COLOR

(OP)
Hi
I just saw few post about how to render color solids in AutoCAD
I would like to submit this method that I use.
There is one way around this , to plot full color
In model space select the angle you want, render and then use "saveimg" command and save the image.
Now click in the layout tab
Insert your image , using image manager.
And delete the viewport in the layout.
You will be left with the rendering of your file and you can scale it .
good luck.
Any more question just ask.

RE: PLOTTING SOLIDS IN COLOR

I just had this crazy idea.  I have successfully plotted raster images in color w/ autocad.  I have not tried xref file so may be you should import your 3D files as an XRef and try plotting it thru the conventional way of Pspace and if that does not work do it in Mspace.  Contrary to what CADSTUDENT said 3D drawing seem to plot better in Mspace.
