width of BOM template equal to width of title block ?

width of BOM template equal to width of title block ?

(OP)
When I make a custom made BOM in Excel and I insert it in a drawing (bottom right corner of BOM is ancored on top right corner of title block)I want the width of the BOM to be equal to the width of the title block. I know I can modify this by double clicking on the BOM and than changing the column width in Excel, but it takes a lot of work when I have to do that for every drawing I make. So...is it possible to insert a BOM that has automatically the correct width ? (My title blocks always have the same width : 160mm)

RE: width of BOM template equal to width of title block ?

Change the size then save it as a template. Then insert.

Gepo,
Follow ctopher's comment and also do this step:

Select your view, insert BOM, select your excel table that you saved and uncheck the check box "Use the document's note font when creating table". This will keep your orginal excel document parameters. If this box is "check" it will screw up your excel table everytime. I had the same problem problem in the past.

Hope this works,

Macduff
