Fiber to copper interface

(OP)
I am looking at putting a radio on a tower. The interface to the radio is fiber, but the only transmission in the area is copper (basic T-1). I was thinking may be a fiber t-1 modem on each end, but I am not sure. What about attenuation? The repeaters on the copper side should take care of the copper portion. Are there any products that would work? There is also the problem of power. You obviously cannot get AC power in a lot of places, so DC would be the rule.

RE: Fiber to copper interface

Sounds like you have an optical interface option on your mw.
harris? alcatel?other? Give me some specifics. I might be able to help. Allot of the vendors are now offering a SONET optical interface for wireless rings.
