Measure Heat Generated?

Measure Heat Generated?

Measure Heat Generated?

(OP)
I just wanted to double check this formula with you guys..

I have 108 Fluorescent Lights that run at 18 Watts...

I want to figure out BTUh. So the formula would look something like..

18/110 = 0.16 amp draw of each light

18/.2930711 = 61.42 BTUh for each light

Is that correct.. because that just seams REALLY high to me for some reason.

RE: Measure Heat Generated?

1 watt = 3.412 btu

RE: Measure Heat Generated?

There was no need to calculate the current to find the BTU/hr
