CLIPPING PLANES

CLIPPING PLANES

CLIPPING PLANES

(OP)
When trying to set clipping planes why does the drawing disappear in the clipping planes viewer and why can't I find the clipping planes.

Many thanks

RE: CLIPPING PLANES

Hello r4321
A couple of questions?  What layer are the clipping on and is the layer frozen?  John

I never realised you had to set the clipping planes to any specific layer. There aren't any frozen layers.

RE: CLIPPING PLANES

I have similar problems.  Try zoom extents prior to setting clipping planes.  Autocad simply has done a terrible job on this feature IMHO.  Maybe R2005 will be better ( one can only hope !! )
