(OP)
Hello,
I am doing a two step riveting analysis in explicit. Right now I am just doing it one step where I apply the full load (displacement). Element is CAX6M, version 6.4-1. After solving the first step I want to do an unload step to just let the model unload (similar to springback).I was going through the manual on Importing your analysis from explicit to standard and then doing the analysis quickly in standard. I also went through an example on this. the example works. Then I tried writing out an input file for my analysis but its giving me errors right at the start

***ERROR: The restart (.res) and results (.fil) files are not organized as an
assembly of part instances. Therefore, some options that read data
from these files currently cannot be used in models defined in terms
of an assembly of part instances. IMPORT is one of them.
***NOTE: DUE TO AN INPUT ERROR THE ANALYSIS PRE-PROCESSOR HAS BEEN UNABLE TO
INTERPRET SOME DATA.  SUBSEQUENT ERRORS MAY BE CAUSED BY THIS OMISSION

I have solved my previous analysis and have all the files. I followed the example problem also and did it the same way and it worked. Could anyone please help?
