IEC 61363-1

IEC 61363-1

IEC 61363-1

(OP)
Dear Colleagues,

for the first time I must carry out a short circuit calculation for an off-shore plant.

Usually I base my calculations on the IEC 60909, but this is not applicable in this case, as clearly stated in the first chapter.

I must apply the IEC 61363-1 but my software does not implement it.
Taking into account the very short time to produce the report, I need a fast and effective solution.

What could you suggest me?
Is there a FREEWARE that can help me?
Any experience on the matter?

Thank you in advance
Alex68

RE: IEC 61363-1

Contact ABB. They may (or may not) give you the DocWin program, that calculates according to 60909 and 61363.

Thank you both.

Alehman, (perhaps we two have the same name) I already know the commercial products and they cost a lot.

ijl, this is a very good idea because my client is ABB!!
I will try to ask the prg.

Thank you again

RE: IEC 61363-1

I was thinking maybe one of the commercial vendors might be willing to help you out of a bind.

That could be a good idea.
I will ask.

Thank you

RE: IEC 61363-1

Ijl is right - go to www.abb.com, then search for DOCWin. ABB SACE will send it for free. I'm using it and it works.

RE: IEC 61363-1

Does ant one have a link where I can download the IEC-61363 document?
