Another PDMWorks annoyance

Another PDMWorks annoyance

Another PDMWorks annoyance

(OP)
The other day, I was trying to archive some older files from PDMWorks using the "archive" function in the Vault Admin.  The problem was, I was getting a vague error message to the effect of "Could not archive project."  After much weeping and gnashing of teeth, I finally determined that I was experiencing the same bug that prevented me from deleting folders from the vault a while back.  We have several admins on our PDM vault, and to make life easier, we have them all lumped under a group.  Turns out, PDMWorks doesn't always treat a group of admins and individual admins the same way.  Once I added myself to the individuals with admin privileges in the vault and removed myself from the admin group (in that order!), problem solved.  It's annoying, to be sure, but at least the workaround is straightforward.  (We're running SP3.0 in case anyone is wondering.)
