Common DC Bus ABB ACS800 Sizing

(OP)
Hey Guys,
Can anybody provide any resources to determine how to connect two ABB ACS800 DC buses together?  I have a 18.5KW motor under continuous regen (braking) which I want to connect to a 37.5KW motor.  The system voltage is 690VAC.  What I need to determine is the cable size and fusing between the two VFDs.

RE: Common DC Bus ABB ACS800 Sizing

You need to contact your local ABB Tech Service people.  ABB has documentation available to do just what you are requesting.

Their website is www.abb.com or, for drive specific issues www.abb-drives.com

In the US, the Tech Service phone is 800.243.4384 but it doesn't sound like you are in North America.

I am an ABB Territory Manager and Certified Startup Tech so, if you don't have any luck locally, I might be able to help you thru email, etc.

Good luck.
