I MAKE A MISTAKE (NUTS ASTM - A-563 GR. A OR B)

(OP)
Greetings from Peru.

Hi, my name is John Altamirano; I am Mechanical Engineer.
I have a problem and it's about Nuts.

I need some help.
I have to buy Hexagonal Nuts ASTM A-563 Grade A (5/8", 3/4", 1") and Grade B (1/2").
After looking at the local market. I found there aren't Nuts with those features.

I would like to know if there are equivalents to those nuts for buying them instead the first ones
because I just need few pieces of these. And I am not thinking to buy them abroad.
I thanks anyone who can help to solve my problem.
And I will appreciate if you can answer my question as soon as it can be.

Check your post concerning the hex bolts.
The specifications you call out are for nuts generally used on water pipe flanges and not on structural components. Grades A & B are used only on A307 or A449 bolts.
A307 bolting with A563 Grade A & B nuts is the only one specification that covers your sizes.

If you could add a little more information to either post as to the end use you could get a more difinitive answer.

This is an unusual material specification for an oil company.  Perhaps ASTM A193-B7 or B7M studs and ASTM A194-2H or 2HM would be easier.

Certainly from LuizSouza, line(s) 1 and 3 call this out according to the API Specification.  I would tend to agree.
