i'm using v5r12 sp6

when i'm in assembly workbench i can click the A15 icon so that all my catpart files get assigned a number, that can be seen by the right-click properties over each catpart eisiting within the spec tree structure....

how could i acomplish the same thing using vb code....what vb catia api's are related to doing this task?

THANKS in advance for any suggestions or insights

RE: vb code for assemblies A15 "numbering" function ?

Hi there.

I don't think it's possible at the moment to access the numbering in assembly or product workbench.
I haven't seen anything about it the documentation files.
I do hope they allow access to it in the near future, as it would make scripting in V5 much more powerful (easier BOMs etc..)
