I'm looking for CTE data on ASM 6471 steel.  Does anyone have a good source?

robjack:

The best free online source for material properties is MatWeb:  http://www.matweb.com/index.asp?ckck=1

I did a quick search for Nitralloy (135 Mod.)and its other designations (MIL-S-6709 and UNS K24065) but could not find anything listed. As for CTE values, I would guess that it is close to other low alloy steels CTE= 7 x 10-6 in/in/degF.

Terry
