File Reversion Autocad 2004Dx

File Reversion Autocad 2004Dx

(OP)
Has anyone eles had this issue?  Recently a couple of our designers have made some changes to some ACAD files, saved them and then re-opened them later the same day or several days later only to find that the changes they made didn't save.  It almost seems like Autocad is re-opening the bak file and not the dwg.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Is this a bug?  Is there a fix?
Thanks

RE: File Reversion Autocad 2004Dx

sounds to me that it's either:
a) operator error - check that they are the same files in the same location and that they were saved.
b) you should re-install acad and clean your computer
c) check no-one has changed the save icon button properties to somthing like "undo back y qsave close " (unlikely, you would hope)
