How to make development in SW?

(OP)
Hi everybody, I am just a beginner, but I am very interested in SW. Now I have a problem - I can`t do development in SolidWorks. Please, help me!
I am intrested in developable surface

RE: How to make development in SW?

Not sure what you mean by "Development" but to make a surface simply make a sketch and click Extrude Surface under the Surface toolbars. You can use more than one sketch to make a single surface. You would have to connect the sketches but then you could make a Filled surface, etc..

You are able to do "Developments" or Flat layouts if you use the Sheet Metal functions to create your part.

I suggest you work through the SW tutorials & read the Help files to learn about the Sheet Metal capablities of SW.
