Cut and Paste Special Problem

Cut and Paste Special Problem

Cut and Paste Special Problem

(OP)
This is really wierd. I have 2002. When I try to paste in an XL file using Paste Special / 100% Entities, it acts like something came in, but there nothing to be found. The strange thing is that SOMETIMES this will work, usually on the first go around. It is afterwards, when I try to paste in a revised chart I get nothing. I have been having to paste in the charts as XL files. They are harder to manage.
I never had this problem with R14.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Cut and Paste Special Problem

Are you using Windows XP? We have had copy paste issues with ACAD 2002 and XP. No fix from Autodesk, they said we should upgrade to ACAD 2004.

Yeah we're using XP.....so I'm pretty much screwed then, sounds like. Well thanks anyway.

RE: Cut and Paste Special Problem

It seems that not everyone here using XP has the issue. We are trying to isolate why that may be. It seems like a "store and retrieve" from memory issue but we are not sure. I will post something if we figure out anything.
