Alignment

(OP)
I have two shackles on opposite sides of an assembly, and need them to align with each other so that I can then connect them.  Is there any way to do this other than calculating the angles and using the angle relation?

RE: Alignment

Lot's of ways.  The easiest I can think of off hand (but this depends on what version of SE you're running) is to create a couple sketch lines at the angles you want the shackles at and then mate the shackles to the sketch lines.  To change the angle, edit the sketch.
