AutoCAD 2004 crashes
AutoCAD 2004 crashes
(OP)
Need some help on troubleshooting why AutoCAD 2004 crashes when trying to move objects. Any time an object is either moved, stretched, or copied the system will do a fatal error and then shut down. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that the blocks that are being moved are from version 2000. Is there a conflict between importing a block created in autocad 2000 into 2004?

Enter "WHIPTHREAD" at the command line, and set it to 0 or 1.
It will slow the refresh rate on your system, freeing up more memory to prevent problems.
