Add folders to the left pane in Open Dialog (SW04)
Add folders to the left pane in Open Dialog (SW04)
(OP)
We just upgraded (finally) to SW 2004 (from 01+)...
Anyways...
Is there a way to add folders to the Open Dialog box, in the left Pane?
Mine currently includes:
History
My Documets
Desktop
Favorites
Network Folders
There are several other folders I would like to add to this list.
Note: I am not talking about adding parts and drawings to the favorites folder... I want to add folders to the shortcut list...
I couldn't find any options in the Setting or registry, though I did not look too hard...
If anyone has modified their folder shortcuts, please share how you did it
Thanks in Advance,
Josh

Yeah, that's how you do it in AutoCAD 2004...
(Or just Drag/Drop the folder on the 'Places' area)
So I guess SW is a step behind in this area, eh?
Well, if anyone finds anything, let me know
Thanks for the reply

But I don't think that deals with the Places bar... (from what I could see)
And I am a bit skeptical about installing 3rd party software to take over core windows functionality at work...
You never really know what is packaged in with it...
Thanks anyways
