Standard Drawing Notes Tip

Standard Drawing Notes Tip

Standard Drawing Notes Tip

(OP)
Ever have a bunch of drawing notes that you often use?

Then to get quick access to them, simply make a new drawing (format is note important), and add your notes here.

Give this new drawing a name that places it at the top of a directory, like "0-notes.drw"

Now, when you create a drawing and need a standard note, select "EDIT / COPY FROM OTHER DRAWING..." and pick the "0-notes.drw", and then pick your notes from there.

We just store all common stuff in Word then Copy/Paste them in when/where required.

Hi All,

We use the pro_note_dir in the config.pro to go to a known location when you use create note from file.  You can save many different notes for different apps.
