Presevation for towers

Presevation for towers

(OP)
Hi:

I need to preserve internally several towers (CS) for a chemical plant against corrosion, during transport and before final installation.
I am looking for a type of oil or wax to apply, easy to remove using hot water and detergent after final installation.
Any idea about this?
Thanks

RE: Presevation for towers

Check products by Tectyl (sp-?) among others.

Thanks a lot!!

RE: Presevation for towers

vaseline (petroleum jelly)works a treat. You can rub it on direct as a jelly or liquify it above 122 deg.F and spray, brush, roller it on and steam clean it off. No nasties and cheap.
