Drag-problem...
Drag-problem...
(OP)
Hello,
Is there anyone here that ever had this problem: If I startup SW, open a part, g into a sketch i can then click on a dimension and drag it to another position. But from then in this sw-session I am not able to drag anything to another positions. not dims, not lines.... instead I will be pulling a nice selection-box.
Anyone knows the fix???
Grtz, Bouke

- Single command per pick - Specifies that sketch and dimension tools clear after each use. (Double-clicking a tool causes it to remain selected for additional use.)
Even when you drag a Dimension that is a command.Have you tried clicking "Esc" key? Ctrl-Q?
What if you close SW and reopen it does it work fine then till you do it again?

Tools\Options\System Options\Performance - You can't have ANY files open in SW to turn this option on. If that fixes the problem. It's either your video card or your Drivers.
Also try this FAQ559-507 - It will not take long for you to try and you can always go back if you follow that FAQ.

Maybe I didn't read corrcetly, but did you fix the setting that Aamoroso suggested? If so, try doing a "repair" of SolidWorks (need original disc).

But I have had this behavior on another system of mine with yet a different video card / driver... it would not allow me to pick things or drag them.. but if I rotated my view a bit all of a sudden it would. It turned out to be driver related.
