XREF EXPLODED A BLOCK WITH ATTRIBUTE TEXT

(OP)
I have a block with attribute text which has been exploded not bursted. When I xref or insert as a block the file with the exploded block and attribute text, the attribute text only is invisible. Is there some way to make the attribute text visible again when the file is xref'd or inserted as a block?

When you use ATTDEF Command, Autocad bring up the Attribute Definitions dialog box and look under mode area there a invisible option.  If you want the attribute to be shown with the inserted block, leave the Invisible check box inactive.  If you active this check box, the attribute will not be displayed when the block is inserted. Hope this helps - John
