I am having difficulties using the "rtext" feature in 2004. I have a title block set up with rtext in it that displays drawing name, date, etc. Each time I open a drawing with this rtext, I have to enable the rtext. This causes problems because if I forget, I may send plots to the plotter that are incorrect. When the rtext is not enabled, it shows a box with an "x" through it in its place. I never had this problem in 2000i. Any suggestions?

Thanks

RE: RTEXT

You may need to have the rtext autoload when Autocad runs. Put it in your startup suite in "Load Applications" under tools

I was actually going to put rtext in my startup suite, but I could not find the file. Is it an *.arx file? If so, do you have any idea which one it is, and where it might be located?

Thanks.

RE: RTEXT

jkinnairdgt,

are the other commands working?
Maybe it's better to reinstall the ExpressTools.
