1-Ph Test Sets

1-Ph Test Sets

(OP)
I am looking for a single phase test set to test high burden electromechanical relays. I've used the T1000 (ISA) and Multi-Amp, but because they are just modern variacs, the waveform distortion is so much that timing tests are not accurate anymore. For the other relays (e.g. Digital types), we use Omicron which is very good.

I am very interested to see what other test sets are being used to test these relays, e.g. CDG26 with PS = 0.1A, or P&B Gold M3 Motor Protection. Surely with these types of relays being around for decades, there must be something reliable and accurate out there (and not as expensive as the 3-ph PC driven test sets).

Your responses will be much appreciated.

RE: 1-Ph Test Sets

Hi electoman.  Try T&R Test Equipment, they have a wide range of test gear for secondary injection.  They are sure to ahve a web site but if not their e-mail is tandtest@dial.pipex.com

RE: 1-Ph Test Sets

Try Programma. They have an excellent range of good quality instruments, but as with most good quality products they are not cheap.
