printing to scale

(OP)
I have forgotten this simple thing,  but i draw my floor plans in model space, i have a title block set up in layout space, with my companies legal stuff, in case they are used my a competitor,

my drawings dont come out in 1/8 scale, am i doing something wrong, or just forgetting the plan obvious.

thanks

RE: printing to scale

I believe that you:
Insert a view port in layout (paper) space.
In model space Zoom the drawing to 1/8XP
Print from paper space with a 1 = 1, plotted to drawing ratio

RE: printing to scale

Hi Emetzgersubflr,

As I can understand your question, I think that the only part that you may have left out is scaling the VIEWPORT in your layout space. Simply click on the layout tab, activate the viewport, and ZOOM 1/96XP. This will make the drawing within the viewport snap to the proper scale. You may have to stretch your viewport or move it around to match your border, but, once that is complete, you are ready to plot the drawing at 1:1 (within the layout tab).

Hope this helps,
Paul
