NC Program Compare Utility

NC Program Compare Utility

(OP)
We just installed CIMNET DNC to replace our Predator and ShopLink DNC systems that we were running previously. We are looking for a robust file compare utility that will compare our uploaded programs to the originals and create reports on what programs changed and what in them changed. We need a program that will run an automated compare on third shift. Does anyone use anything like this? Any input is appreciated.

RE: NC Program Compare Utility

We use Cimco Editor.  This software offers a file compare feature where you can look at the 2 files side by side and it will grapically show you the differences

RE: NC Program Compare Utility

We use UltraEdit for all our machine program editing.
It is simply the best programming editor out there for the money.  It has a compare files feature that has several options.  Check it out at www.ultraedit.com
