(OP)
What is the best go between file format for going from Microstation to Solidworks, step, iges etc...?
Thanks
Tom

PS We have been trying step files with rather limited or no success.

RE: Micro Station to Solidworks

1) Parasolid
2) STEP
3) IGES
4) ACIS

This is the best method to use when going to SW. Try and get Parasolid files first (If available) then on down as they are available.

The lower down the list (as I have seen it) the more repair is needed to the models once brough into SW.
