Weight in BOM

Weight in BOM

Weight in BOM

(OP)
I'd like to list the weight of each part in the BOM for my assembly. I've got a 'Weight' column and it is linked to the mass of each part. The only problem is that it only gives the weight for a single part when the assembly contains a quantity of more than one of each. Is there any way to put an equation in the properties to have weight X quantity? I'm using the SolidWorks based BOM not the Excel based one.

RE: Weight in BOM

I changed the column header to:
WEIGHT
QTY=1

Cheesy - sure...
But these days, who don't have a calculator on their desk?

Good idea. Thanks. I'll do that for now.
